As September wraps up, we’re celebrating an incredible start to the school year at Sit Beside! From Math Foundations for 2nd–6th graders to persuasive writing adventures in our Writer’s Workshop, it’s been a month full of growth, excitement, and new milestones. ✨

This past month wasn’t just about learning—it was about providing tools to support growth at home. Here are some highlights:

• Positive Homework Routines
  Establishing boundaries for siblings and creating consistent homework locations can help your child focus. If distractions like electronics are an issue, encourage your child to set boundaries or try short breaks to maintain momentum. 🚫🎮

• Spotting Math Struggles Early
  If your child is feeling frustrated with math homework, we’re here to help! Schedule a personalized learning consultation to identify areas where they may need extra support. ➕

• Six Weeks to Land
  As we transition into the school year, take time to reflect:

  • How do this year’s expectations differ? 🎒

  • Where are you noticing growth or independence? 🌱

  On Saturday, October 26th, join us for a 90-minute creative Writer’s Workshop featuring descriptive writing and art activities. It’s going to be a ghoulishly good time! 🎨✍
